Adriana Galan
President
I am passionate about supporting local businesses and building a strong, connected community. As a small business owner and active SBA member, I understand the challenges entrepreneurs face and believe in the power of collaboration, shared resources, and mutual support. I want to contribute my experience in business operations, community engagement, and event organization to help the SBA grow, support its members, and make a positive impact in Stittsville.
Adriana is an active member of the Stittsville Business Association (SBA), where she and her husband enjoy networking with local business owners over coffee, sharing experiences, and supporting one another through the ups and downs of entrepreneurship.
Passionate, open-minded, warm-hearted, and community-focused, Adriana thrives on connection and giving back. Her hobbies include gardening, baking, taking walks, and organizing community events.

Al Belanger
Past President
As a proud resident of Stittsville since 1996 and the owner of Tailored Home Improvements, I have deep roots in our community. Alongside my wife, we raised two children who actively participated in the local Stittsville hockey association. With 28 years of residency, I’ve built strong connections with local businesses and developed a robust network throughout the area. As an entrepreneur, I’ve started and grown businesses from the ground up by leveraging expertise in branding, marketing, and growth strategy. My journey has been defined by a passion for building things that last—and supporting others in doing the same.
My time with the Stittsville Business Association has taught me a great deal about our local economy, the unique challenges our businesses face, and the incredible potential that exists when we work together. As President of the SBA, I was committed to doing everything I can to help local businesses grow. Whether it was amplifying their voice, increasing visibility, fostering collaboration, or developing new initiatives that strengthen our local economy, my focus will always be on building something better—for everyone.
Stittsville is a special place, and I believe our business community plays a vital role in shaping its future. Through strong leadership, strategic action, and a renewed sense of community, I was excited to help lead that charge. Together, we make Stittsville stronger, more connected, and more vibrant than ever before.

Matthew Verslycken
Secretary
While my career path has taken a few different turns, the constant has always been a focus on people’s well-being. I began as a naturopathic doctor in my hometown, encouraging individuals to take a preventative approach to their health. Later, I moved to South Korea to teach kindergarten, supporting young learners during a key stage in their growth and development. Today, I serve as the Regional Manager for PilDental, which includes overseeing operations at Mulkins Main Dental in Stittsville. Across all these roles, my work has been about promoting individual health and contributing to stronger, healthier communities.

Cameron Belanger
Director at Large
As someone who helps manage both Tailored Home Improvements and Legacy Small Engines, I’m deeply invested in the growth and success of Stittsville’s business community. These locally owned and operated businesses have given me firsthand experience with the challenges small businesses face and the role strong community support plays in overcoming them. With five years of accounting experience, I bring a solid foundation in financial management, budgeting, and internal controls—skills that are critical for the Treasurer role. I’ve also self-taught personal finance, business operations, and social media strategy, equipping me with a well-rounded perspective on how to grow and support businesses in the modern age. My passion for entrepreneurship is matched by my passion for Stittsville. I see the Stittsville Business Association as a key player in uniting local businesses, restoring a sense of neighborly loyalty, and creating a thriving ecosystem where every member benefits. I believe there’s untapped potential in how we support our members and engage our community, and I’m eager to help steer that growth in a financially responsible way. As Treasurer, I will ensure transparency, accountability, and strategic planning in every financial decision.
